TIPS FOR GLOWING SKIN

#1 HYDRATE

Skin needs water and plenty of it, because it's the largest organ of the body.  Drink around 8 glasses of water a day to flush toxins out and help skin to appear plump and hydrated.

#2 EAT WELL

Fill your diet up with plenty of fresh foods that are alive and rich in nutrients to give skin everything it needs to glo from the inside out such as fruits, vegetables and herbs.

#3 EXERCISE

Exercise increases blood flow to the skin, helping with healthy skin renewal, so add in some cardio to your fitness routine.

#4 GO NATURAL

Factory produced skincare often has harmful chemicals which can actually damage and age the skin. Swap to natural skincare by using more of what the earth provides.

#5 ANTIOXIDANTS

Eat more foods rich in antioxidants such as herbs, garlic and nuts and seeds. Use oils high in antioxidants on your skin such as essential oils and vitamin E to protect and heal the skin.

#6 SUPPLEMENT

Supplement your diet with essential fatty acids such as evening primrose oil, as it ensures skin looks firmer, plumper and more radiant.  Essential fatty acids also help to repair skin and protect skin from further damage.

#7 COVER UP

Sun damage is one of the most harmful factors to the skjin and it is almost impossible to reverse the damage that years of sun damage has done.  Cover up with a natural sun lotion that has a high sun protection factor to protect skin.

#8 DETOX

Don't just detox from the inside with fresh juices and herbal teas, but ensure you let skin do its job by letting it breath. Detox your make up, use light natural make ups, or even better leave your make up off as much as you can so that skin pores can breath.

#9 SEA SALT

Add sea salt into your diet instead of table salt to ensure you are getting a good dose of minerals.  Use a sea salt rinse, or salt soap bar, on your face and body to help skin really glow, and if you can get out for a swim in the sea, your skin and hair will really thank you.
