Sisal
1. Add soap. Place a full-sized bar of soap or small, leftover soap slivers into the bag. A sisal bag is particularly useful for combining multiple soap scraps.
2. Wet and lather. Secure the drawstring and run the bag under water. The natural friction of the sisal fibers will help quickly create a rich, creamy lather.
3. Exfoliate and clean. Use the bag and the sudsy soap inside it to wash your body, hair, or hands. The textured surface provides gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and boosting circulation.
4. Hang to dry. After each use, rinse the bag thoroughly and hang it by its drawstring in a well-ventilated area. This keeps the soap dry, preventing it from turning mushy and extending its lifespan.
How to care for your sisal bag:

4. Replace periodically: The bag should be replaced every 4 to 6 months, or sooner if it begins to show significant wear. The natural sisal is compostable at the end of its life.
