1. Cleanse your skin: Wash your face or the target area with a gentle cleanser and warm water to open pores.
2. Pat dry: Gently pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
3. Apply a small amount: Dispense a pea-sized amount of vitamin E oil onto your fingertips.
4. Massage gently: Gently massage the oil into your skin in a circular motion until it's absorbed.
5. Leave it on:
- For dry skin: You can leave it on overnight for maximum nourishment.
- For oily or acne-prone skin: Rinse the oil off after about 15 minutes to prevent clogged pores.
6. Rinse if needed: If you're not leaving it on overnight, rinse the oil off with lukewarm water.
Tips for Best Results
1. Patch test: Before applying all over, test a small area of skin to check for sensitivity.
2. Mix with other oils: For easier application or to dilute the thick oil, mix a drop or two with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil.
3. Add to moisturizer: Mix a drop of vitamin E oil into your regular moisturizer to add its benefits.
4. Use a product with vitamin E: For easier overall application, choose a skincare product like a serum or lotion that already contains vitamin E.
5. Consider time of day: Applying it before bed is ideal since the thick oil needs time to absorb.
6. Important Precautions
- Avoid the eye area: Do not apply vitamin E oil to the delicate eye area, as it can cause irritation.
- Limit frequency: Don't overuse vitamin E oil, as its fat-soluble nature can lead to pore clogging.
- Listen to your skin: If you experience any irritation, discontinue use.
